Multi‐temporal <scp>InSAR</scp> analysis to monitor landslides using the small baseline subset ( <scp>SBAS</scp> ) approach in the Mila Basin, Algeria

Hazardous ground deformation and landslides occur frequently in the Mila Basin, Algeria this problem remains unsolved. However, The historical seismicity area indicates no severe damage from past earthquakes. For reason, studies are needed to monitor slow movements their triggering factors. Since about two decades ago, satellite observations by interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) technique multi-temporal (MT-InSAR) have provided a tool for monitoring extremely displacements. In study, 2D-decomposition of InSAR outputs revealed sliding surface at regions located 12 km apart, indicating motion rather than fast movement along damaged area. We concluded that factors leading displacement investigated include earthquakes, precipitation, terrain topography, soil moisture. This study contributes landslide hazard identification risk assessment Basin.
